  • == Customization ==
  • Inhale is an ability given to Bowser by Broque Monsieur after the former helped the latter get to Plack Beach from the island Broque was stranded on. The ability is given to him in the form of the Vacuum Block. In battle, Bowser can use it to inhale small enemies and even items, including, but not limited to: * Lollypops (from Chuboombas) (heals 20 HP, but causes enemy to run away crying, gaining Bowser No experience * Nut (from Treevils) (Heals 20 HP)
  • Inhale is a move that only Kirby, King Dedede, possibly you and a few others can perform. It is typically the stronger version of Breathe. Kirby adds an extra ability: if he swallows something, he can get its power (which means, if he swallows Dedede, he'll become Fat Kirby.)
  • Many enemy characters have special powers that Kirby is able to copy once he's eaten them, known as Copy Abilities. Inhaling has no effect on excessively large or heavy objects, such as a boss. The main difference between the games and the anime is that Kirby's Inhale in the anime is equivalent to Kirby's Super Inhale in the games. Kirby's Super Inhale was absent from the anime. Also in the anime, before he inhales he holds his breath, screws up his face, does an "on the spot" run up, charges at the enemy, starts inhaling and steps backwards.
  • Inhale (すいこみ, Suikomi, literally "Suction",) is Kirby's standard special move in Super Smash Flash 2. Kirby opens his mouth and inhales, sucking in nearby opponents or items. While an opponent is in Kirby's mouth, Kirby can spit them out as a star, or absorb their standard special move and use it himself. Absorbing the opponent deals 6% while spitting them out does 5% to the opponent. For each ability he has, he will gain a different hat allusive to the opponent he absorbed; obtaining Mario's cap, Mega Man's helmet, Lloyd's hair, etc. (see below for a complete compilation of revealed Kirby Hats). Once an opponent's special is acquired, the player can use a taunt to discard it. Kirby's standard special will revert to Inhale if he is KO'ed, or damaged enough.

Also in the anime, before he inhales he holds his breath, screws up his face, does an "on the spot" run up, charges at the enemy, starts inhaling and steps backwards. If Kirby inhales for extended periods of time in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, he becomes exhausted, resulting in panting. This also happens in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby: Squeak Squad. Inhale is a great defense as well as an attack, although it's impossible for Kirby to use while in yarn form in Kirby's Epic Yarn as the air inhaled goes right through his body. Kirby cannot usually inhale underwater without the help of Kine, although he can in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. He can also move while inhaling in that game, something that is impossible in other games.

Kirby does not have this ability in the original Super Smash Flash due to Cleod9's inability at the time, to properly code copy abilities. In compensation, he instead gave Kirby the ability to tag out with Meta Knight at any time.
