Veeper was the cousin of Wicket Wistri Warrick. He was one of the Ewoks that captured Luke Skywalker, Chewbacca, Han Solo, R2-D2, and C-3PO. While attempting to sacrifice Luke Skywalker to C-3PO, Veeper could feel the Force flowing through Luke. He was actually afraid of sacrificing him because he feared of what Luke could do to him in the afterlife. After Luke was set free, Veeper very much wished to learn how to use Luke's power, for he had noticed that it was he that lifted C-3PO's throne, and not C-3PO himself.
