The House of River's Spray one of the principle ambassadorial sites of the Mantis Clan in Toshi Ranbo, on the water's edge on the north side of the Shijou District. It was a grand structure, filled with trophies and gifts from the other Clans and with rooms heavily decorated with artworks. The Mantis Clan representatives conducted most of their more sensitive negotiations within these halls. It was ostentatious in its ornamentation; the exterior was brightly painted in primary colors, with numerous decorations in ceramic, tile, and metal. After the Race for the Throne, when the Mantis were temporarily expelled from the city, they established a new Clan Embassy in the Kurai District.
