Dave Frobel is the caretaker of the cryogenically preserved body of reggae singer Robillard Nevin, and had his body stored in an abandoned nursing home until revival, which was to come after Dr. Arthur Poe found an antidote to the poison that killed him. But OCB raided the nursing home looking for drugs and confiscated the body until a court can review who owns it. Nevin's widow, Esther, arrived to get the body to take back to Jamaica (and earning a $30 million inheritance from his estate), but was rebuffed by OCB (due to the pending court actions), so she filed suit against OCB and a TRO against Frobel to prevent his access to the body, but Nevin's body disappeared, and Esther, thinking Frobel still had it and was hiding the body (or knowing where it went) and Esther killed Frobel by guns
