Hey Buzz Crew, As a United Airlines Continuous Improvement Intern and Buzz Out Loud fan for a few years – I’m very sorry to hear you think UA is the WORST company in the world…*tear* 1. Molly, you do not need to worry about United’s maintenance! We have one of the best records for keeping our planes in the sky. 2. I think the reason you all hate UA and right now comes down to many of our ‘front line’ employees (those you will interact with). Many have lost a passion over the years for great customer service. Actually, United is looking to new Disney execs to begin the long-term fix. Thoughts?

Actually, United is looking to new Disney execs to begin the long-term fix. 3. You must not be Premier, 1K, or the mythical Global Services frequent flyers. Once you get that the experience might as well be a totally different airline. I know every guest should have that experience…but… we’re working on it. 4. Our First and Business class international are a techies dream! However if we merge with US Air or Continental… I quit – that would suck. Dear Buzz crew, I heard you discussing the collapse of the Hulu talks in the UK on episode 1216. As a UK listener, it doesn’t particularly surprise me that local broadcasters, particularly ITV, Channel 4 and Five, saw no real value in putting their content on Hulu, as they all have their own web player solutions, most if not all of which publish their broadcast material immediately after it has been aired on live television (and, for some special events, at the same time). Further, they air at most two advertisements per show (always one at the beginning and end, occasionally one mid way through a programme). Given that some recent stories had revealed plans for Hulu to air as many as twelve ads per hour, the service would have been actively shunned by UK viewers. In addition, the largest satellite TV provider, Sky, has an online player which syndicates shows from over 900 different channels, incorporating many US shows, and provides free access to these for its subscribers. It also provides a selection of these shows for free to those without a subscription to its services. Bearing all this in mind, I find it hard to imagine what extra value Hulu would add to the UK space, beyond perhaps having all these shows in one place, and possibly in HD. Thoughts? Love the show,
