abstract	Galen Marek was the son of Jedi Knights Kento Marek and Mallie Marek. While both his parents were killed, Mallie by Trandoshan slavers and Kento at the hands of Darth Vader, Marek was abducted by the Dark Lord and trained as a secret Sith Apprentice codenamed Starkiller. Marek was sent by Vader to eliminate Jedi survivors, but was temporarily betrayed by Vader, who had to prove his loyalty to Emperor Palpatine. Vader recovered Marek and told him to gather up an army of rebels to take down the Emperor. Starkiller did as told, but was betrayed by Vader once again, who was truly loyal to the Emperor. Marek then broke into the Death Star and freed the Rebels from Vader and Palpatine. He was knocked out during the battle, which lead everyone to believe he was dead. But Marek had survived. One year later, Vader had taken the unconscious Jedi to Kamino, in attempt to clone a more obedient apprentice. Marek was fooled by Vader into thinking that the rogue Sith was dead and that Marek himself was a clone. However, Marek broke free and returned to the Rebel Alliance. When Vader sent bounty hunter Boba Fett to kidnap Captain Juno Eclipse, Starkiller's love interest, the Rebel fleet went after them and led an attack on Kamino. Starkiller broke through the facilities and fought Vader, who had tried to kill Starkiller with mutant clones of his former apprentice. When Vader killed Juno, Starkiller wounded Vader after another duel. The rebels wanted to capture Vader and learn the Empire's secrets, but Starkiller learned that he wasn't a clone after all and struck Vader down. Marek, blinded by the Dark Side, struck down his allies, including his Jedi Master Rahm Kota and his holodroid, PROXY. Marek then left Kamino to go after the Emperor. Marek, now under the name, Lord Starkiller, worked rogue and had pursued both the Rebels and Empire on Tatooine, Hoth, and Endor. After finishing the Alliance on Endor, these actions caught the eye of Palpatine himself. Starkiller attacked every Imperial force that was thrown his way before breaking aboard the Death Star II and killing the Emperor himself. Starkiller then took control of the Empire and the Galaxy itself.
