| - Rt Hon Chirisch Cavéir, born on 12th Mar 1974, was elected President in 2005. Cavéir handily won the Deanship in November 2004 in the Republic's first real election. He bested long-time rival and colleague Michael Pope, who was the sitting Dean at the time. Cavéir also defeated Mr Pope to become the Republic's first President and was inaugurated 1 June 2005, the first anniversary of our independence. As a citizen of the Kingdom of Talossa, Cavéir served honourably as Prime Minister from 1998 to 1999, before resigning. He was a member of the legendary Progressive Conservative Party. During his tenure, Cavéir kept the peace by protecting the Kingdom from outside forces. For his efforts in doing so, Cavéir was knighted in the Order Për la Naziun in August 2000. In November 2002, Cavéir co-founded, along with the Kingdom's top linguist Tomás Gariçéir, the Grey Congress Party, best noted for its pro-cultural platforms. During the September–October election of 2003, the GCP managed to nearly best the juggernaut PC for support. However, due to to some unseemly working from within the King's own Black Hand (MN) Party, the GCP and PC teamed up to unify the first strong opposition in Talossan history. Eventually the coalition led to the Revolution, and Cavéir was at the forefront of the leadership. Cavéir is one of the founding parents of the Republic, having given the Republic its name, its flag, and its motto, Dare something worthy. He continues to contribute by serving as MInister of Information and Minister of Defence, and running the nation's only radio network, Radio Free Talossa. He is married to Rischâ Cavéir, one of the founding parents. He has one son, Micháglh, also a Talossan Republic citizen and only five years from voting age. Cavéir is an avid Mac user, a web designer, an author, and a musician. Mr Cavéir encourages all citizens and Friends of the Republic to visit him in the Executive Mansion, located in Tallahassee, Florida. Elected and Appointed Offices Held
