  • (Note: If you are looking for the monsters in the English version of Son Of Godzilla named Gimantis, then this is the right page.) Kamacuras is a giant Mantis (Species)in the Godzilla Series. Due to the Solgell Island atomic testing, the 2 meters Giant Preying Mantises grew to 50 meters, and then the Kamacuras were spotted by the United Nations crew (with then named Gimantis by Goro Maki in the English dub). Then three Kamacuras found Minilla's egg and cracked it with Minilla out, and Minilla's cries (which he did the before even the testing ) attracted his father Godzilla, who killed two Kamacuras with his Atomic Ray, with one escaping. Later Kumonga killed the last Kamacuras.
  • Kamacuras looks like a giant brown mantis with large orange lensed eyes. In the Showa era, Kamacuras is 50 meters tall, 65 meters long, and weighs 2,800 tons. In Godzilla: Final Wars, Kamacuras is 40 meters tall, 90 meters long, and weighs 20,000 tons.
