During the battle, he fought the Hyksos Prince, Khyan, a sadistic immortal who was also quite mad. But the chaos of battle deprived Methos of the chance to take Khyan's head. In present day New York, the Hyksos prince returns, hunting for an ancient sword. Duncan MacLeod and Methos notice a particular sword on display in a New York City museum. Methos recognizes the weapon and after learning of a series of bizarre ritualistic murders in the city, Methos suspects Khyan has come to claim the sword, and it's up to Methos and MacLeod to stop a madman.
