- Jinxy taucht im Spiel Banjo-Kazooie im Level Gobi's Valley auf. Er ist eine sprechende Steinstaute, welche den Körper einer Katze und das Gesicht eines Bären hat. Auf Jinxy sind einige Items verteilt: Gummistiefel auf seinem Schwanz, eine Flugplatte auf seinem Rücken und auf den beiden Säulen vor ihm sind rote Federn. Wenn Banjo und Kazooie auf diese beiden Säulen springen sagt Jinxy ihnen, dass seine Nase verstopft ist. Banjo und Kazooie müssen dann ein blaues Ei in beide seiner Nasenlöcher schiessen, darufhin niest er und lässt Banjo und Kazooie aus dankbarkeit in ihn hineingehen. | - “By dose is all blocked up!”—Jinxy, Banjo-Kazooie Jinxy is a large sphinx with the body of a cat and the face of a bear found in Gobi's Valley. Since he is largely immobile, items are placed on top of his back and feet, including Wading Boots on his tail and a Flight Pad on his back. Interestingly, he is capable of speaking, and complains of a stuffed nose when Banjo and Kazooie stand on one of the two cacti in front of him. The duo can remedy his ailment by firing Blue Eggs into his nostrils, tickling his nose and causing him to sneeze. As thanks, Jinxy will open the small door at his base and allow them inside, where they can find some Musical Notes, a Jinjo, a Mumbo Token, and a Jiggy, as well as an angry Slappa. In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a photo of him appears in Banjoland.
