The most important thing to remember about OC *Master math is that it's nothing really different from any other upgrade processes. There's just a few additional rules. The rest is actually really straight-forward! Here's an example: Skidrow decides that he wants a Nebulan partner, because it sounds like fun RP and he has a lot of AP to blow.He decides to become a TARGETMASTER. Skidrow writes up a cool upgrade plot for why this happens. Then he does the math. +20 Agility/-20 Accuracy Hollow-Points, Level 3, Area-Ranged, Ballistic, Mini-Corrupt - 70 AP His total comes out to be: -30 +6 +9 +70 +50 =105 AP

  • The most important thing to remember about OC *Master math is that it's nothing really different from any other upgrade processes. There's just a few additional rules. The rest is actually really straight-forward! Here's an example: ======================[ PROFILE: SKIDROW [TRANSFORMER] ]====================== BASE STATS / MODE 1 Strength - 55 Intelligence - 70 Accuracy - 80 Leadership - 60 Endurance - 60 Courage - 70 Firepower - 60 Technical - 70 Agility - 60 Energon - 50 ________________ _____/ MODE 1 - Robot \_______________________________________________________ Size: 5 - Velocity: 43 - Armor: 50 Attacks: Blaster [4] Abilities: SCOUT ______________________ _____/ MODE 2 - Helicopter \_________________________________________________ Size: 5 - Velocity: 60 - Armor: 10 Attacks: Machine Gun [2] Abilities: CRACKSHOT SKILLS Ghetto Bird, Bootlegging, Narc =============[ Use '!attacklist' for more specific attack info ]============== Skidrow decides that he wants a Nebulan partner, because it sounds like fun RP and he has a lot of AP to blow.He decides to become a TARGETMASTER. Skidrow writes up a cool upgrade plot for why this happens. Then he does the math. * Size: 2 * -3*10=-30 AP * Velocity: 10 to 19 (5 to 10 AP) * Skidrow decides to pick 18 Velocity, which costs 18/3=6 AP, because the Nebulan mode is counted as a functional mode, so with a Nebulan partner, Skidrow now has 3 functional modes. * Armor: 20 to 29 * Skidrow decides to pick 27 Armor, which costs 27/3=9 AP, because the Nebulan mode is counted as a functional mode, so with a Nebulan partner, Skidrow now has 3 functional modes. +20 Agility/-20 Accuracy Skidrow also mentions why his binary-bonded partner is more agile but less accurate than Skidrow in his upgrade application. Skidrow needs an attack that represents his new buddy. He puts it in his helicopter mode, so he has his buddy stuck to one of his firing platforms. He decides to buy: Hollow-Points, Level 3, Area-Ranged, Ballistic, Mini-Corrupt - 70 AP He justifies how this attack fits with his new friend. Then he has to buy a booster. He goes for an Attack Booster, which is 50 AP. His total comes out to be: -30 +6 +9 +70 +50 =105 AP This is more than the minimum 100 AP that one must spend on a *master partner, so Skidrow is good to go, as long as his upgrade application is good enough.
