Psychic experimentation was already underway during the Stalin's time, culminating in what was known as PsiCorps and its prominent member, Yuri. As the PsiCorps was not fully utilized before the war ended, they were able to evade Allies' notice in the aftermath and secretly continue to develop their psychic technology. One of their breakthroughs was the creation of the Psi-Corps trooper. As the PsiCorps was not fully utilized before the war ended, they were able to evade Allies' notice in the aftermath and secretly continue to develop their psychic technology. One of their breakthroughs was the creation of the Psi-Corps trooper. The Soviets, however, did not fully trust it for his capability (and potential to rebel) and thus limited their ranks and research with a tight leash. Using this knowledge, Yuri established a new program to develop his own version of elite infantry (on par with Navy SEALs and Desolators). The resulting clones resemble the original Psi-Corps trooper, but with loyalty to Yuri alone. Each one is capable of mind-controlling almost any enemy unit. Furthermore, in a desperate situation, a Yuri clone can send out a massive psychic blast, killing almost any infantry unit within its radius. However, unlike their Soviet predecessors, they can not harm friendly units. Yuri, unlike the Soviets, can mass produce this elite infantry without the fear of being mind-controlled by his own army. In War of the Three Powers they were not seen again. Presumably, with Professor Einstein's advancements removed from the equation, the Soviets never took an interest in psychic research.
