Enslaved by the Uul'ba-Rai for centuries, the water-dwelling Bahuji no longer remember which of the barren worlds in Rai space was their homeworld. They are introspective and solitary, but participated in the rebellion that destroyed the Rai priest caste. Many Bahuji now serve in the JEAF, albeit only planetside or onboard modified ships and stations: their best work is performed underwater, though they can live outside it for hours at a time. Many Bahuji consider Haven to be their adoptive homeworld; Bahuji also frequently emigrate to Ebony.
