The USS Onondaga was a Federation Dakota-class starship on active service with Starfleet in the early 25th century. In 2410, Onondaga was commanded by Commander Sibrin Korami and assigned to the Starfleet presence in the Delta Quadrant. Upon receiving a distress signal from USS Bajor, which had suffered damage to her warp drive, Onondaga and her sister ship USS Taino were sent to rescue her. They were still approximately 28 hours out when Bajor, under attack by the Borg AI One of One, was rescued by Vaadwaur forces under Overseer Harn.
