Aaron Lescott is a former defender who initially joined Rovers on loan from Stockport County at the end of the 2003-04 season, before making the move permanent in August 2004. He competed with Ryan Green for the right-back position, but a lengthy spell out injured by Green allowed Aaron to claim the right-hand side of defence as his own. Prior to the Green injury Aaron played on the left side of the back four, and he returned to that side of the pitch following the arrival of Carl Regan at the club in 2009, who was a right-sided defender.

Prior to the Green injury Aaron played on the left side of the back four, and he returned to that side of the pitch following the arrival of Carl Regan at the club in 2009, who was a right-sided defender. Lescott was the regular first choice left-back for the first half of the 2009-10 season, but after a spell out injured was unable to regain his place in the team, resulting in him being sent out on loan to Cheltenham Town until the end of the campaign in order for him to maintain his match fitness. When he returned to Bristol however he was surplus to requirements and he was released at the end of his contract in 2010. Aaron is the brother of England international Jolien Lescott.
