A bulkhead is the nautical term for a vertical partition (wall) in a ship. Some bulkheads, in areas like the Captain's cabin, were removable, so when a ship was cleared for action they could be cleared away to allow the guns to be used.

  • A bulkhead is the nautical term for a vertical partition (wall) in a ship. Some bulkheads, in areas like the Captain's cabin, were removable, so when a ship was cleared for action they could be cleared away to allow the guns to be used.
  • The Bulkhead is a Seabase module. It is constructed with the Habitat Builder and can be placed inside seabases at the ends of Basic Compartments. The Bulkhead cannot be placed in the passages that are automatically built between adjacent Multipurpose Rooms. The Bulkhead increases the Seabase's hull integrity level by 2. The Bulkhead can be opened and closed to stop flooding from going into another section of a base. Note that this is only a temporary solution if the Seabase's hull integrity is too low, because breaches can just as likely appear on the other side of the sealed-off passageway.
  • Flashbacks in the episode "Autoboot Camp" reveal that Bulkhead was originally an energon farmer, who became a Space Bridge technician. He was given his name by Sentinel Prime, who referred to him as "all bulk and no brains." In boot camp, he met and befriended fellow recruit Bumblebee. As stated by Shockwave in "A Bridge too Close" Pt 1, it is revealed that Bulkhead scored higher than any other Autobot in a space bridge aptitude test, despite lacking any other seemingly discernible talent.
  • Bulkhead is a character from the series Transformers Animated. He never appeared in the original series of Transformers.
  • Bulkhead to typ brutala o gołębim sercu. W odcinku Maszeruj Autobocie, on i Bumblebee byli rekrutami pod czujnym okiem Sentinela Minor.
  • Bulkheads were numbered and divided a ship into separate parts to help keep its rigidity. Bulkheads in Starfleet vessels built in the 24th century, specifically of the Galaxy-class and Intrepid-class, were composed of tritanium alloy and could be reinforced with shields to enhance the ship's overall structural integrity. (TNG: "Where Silence Has Lease" ; VOY: "Repentance") In case of structural failure, a bulkhead could be beamed away and temporarily replaced by a force field. (TNG: "Schisms" )
