Jason's employment under Interplay ended shortly after his help in developing the initial design for Fallout 2, leaving the company with Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky to form Troika Games. Interplay has recently reopened in-house development and hired Anderson as creative director for an unannounced non Fallout MMO

According to Deacon, Jason had more patents than the entire Fortune 500 and universities threw grants at him just to rub up against their blackboards. As it turned out, Anderson was a fraud. He had in his possession a device (originally developed by Henry) that allowed him to erase short term memory. Jason would wait until someone on his team would have a breakthrough, use his device to erase everyone's memory, then pretend to come up with the breakthrough himself. When Carter, Lupo, and Deacon exposed his actions he left Global Dynamics in disgrace and his wife - Kim Anderson - left him.

For å finne ut mer om Jason D. Interplay reopened in-house development and hired Anderson as creative director for an unannounced MMO in 2007. It is very likely that the game Anderson was working on is Interplay’s Fallout MMO the company licensed the rights to from Bethesda Softworks. In March 2009, Anderson left Interplay and joined InXile Entertainment, Brian Fargo's new company, to work as creative director on a new computer role-playing game, which is likely to be a sequel to Wasteland. He left the company in January 2011 to join Turtle Rock Studios.
