The Mortal Realms are the place where humans spend their life in the Tortallan Universe. Gods may visit the Mortal Realms, although their ability to do so depends on their power. Lesser Gods like Weiryn or The Green Lady can only cross between the worlds on special days like Beltane. Immortals are also known to live in the Mortal Realms. They had been banned from them for four hundred years before the barrier was made undone; later some Immortals were contained again in the Divine Realms, but some decided to stay in the Mortal Realms.
