  • Mortal Gods is an introductory 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons campaign where the player characters are the gods of the "Points of Light" setting from the core rulebook - Or, to be more exact, they are the mortal adventurers who will eventually become those gods, in the prehistory of that setting. It's intended to be an introductory game simply because the characters are premade. Each player chooses a single good or unaligned deity from the Players Handbook and plays a 1st level adventuring mortal counterpart: -Bahamut is a dragonborn paladin of Chivalry. -Erathis is a human Warlord.

-Corellon is an eladrin Fey-Pack Warlock. -Erathis is a human Warlord. -Ioun is a Human Wizard. -Melora is a human Ranger. -Moradin is a dwarven Cleric of Stiocism. -Pelor is a human fighter. -Sehanine is a human rogue. Adventures in the Mortal Gods setting are based on events alluded to in the core books, such as the war against the Teifling empire of Bael Turath, the Drow rebellion against the Eladrin Lords, or the dwarven resistance against the giants. As there are no deities for clerics and paladins to follow yet in the Mortal Gods setting, divine spellcasters draw thier power from faith in philosophies - Moradin, for example, is a cleric of stiocism, and Bahamut, a Paladin of Chivalry.
