- Anthony Williams is an artist who briefly worked for Sonic the Comic. Williams was responsible for drawing the very first Sonic story as well as working alongside Brian Williamson and Steve White on the Mutant League series. As well as Sonic the Hedgehog, Williams has drawn many other licensed characters, including Spongebob Squarepants, Action Man, Transformers and Ben 10.

He also drew features like 'Kola Commandos', 'Mean Arena', 'PJ Maybe' and 'Robo-Hunter' for 2000 AD. He eventually went to work for the US companies, and is best known for his work on 'Doctor Fate' (DC), 'The Unfunnies' (with Mark Millar at Avatar Press), the first 'X-Men' movie adaptation (Marvel) and 'Hokum & Hex' (Marvel Razorline).
