| - "Speedy Gonzales" is a 1961 David Dante alias David Hess song (RCA 8056)[1] about Speedy Gonzales, "the fastest mouse in all Mexico". It was written by Buddy Kaye, Ethel Lee and David Hess. The David Dante original briefly entered the US Music Vendor chart in April 1961.
- Speedy Gonzales is a mission in Free Ride Extreme. It can be activated in Oakwood, not far from your safehouse. In this mission you have to kill Speedy Gonzales by any means necessary. He will eventually run across the Giuliano Bridge and then to the docks underneath the bridge. There, he will jump into the water and the mission will be failed. If you do succeed in killing him, a bonus car (Flower Power) will appear at the starting point of the mission.
- Speedy Gonzales is an upcoming Warner Bros Film. George Lopez will voice the title character.
- Speedy appears during "I Love L-A-T-I-N-O-S" in "There Goes El Neighborhood" when Choni explains Mexican culture to Cleveland Brown.
- Speedy Gonzales appeared in The One Wherein There Is a Big Twist, Part II when he was one of the candidates who wanted to be the new housemates. Speedy speaks and runs extremely quickly. While he is being interviewed, he gets a nosebleed due to implied cocaine usage. This was possibly the reason why he wasn't chosen.
- Li'l Sneezer is slightly based on Speedy in that his cartoons with Furrball share similarities with the Speedy/Sylvester cartoons. In these cartoons, the antagonist (Furrball/Sylvester) tries to catch and eat the protagonist (Sneezer/Speedy), but ends up failing because of the protagonist having either hurricane-force sneezes (Sneezer) or lightning-fast speed (Speedy). Lightning Rodriguez is actually based completely on Speedy (whereas Sneezer is based more on Sniffles), but he only made 2 brief cameos in the series.
- Speedy makes a brief cameo in the "Fright Before Christmas" segment of Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales. When Bugs Bunny is reading the story of The Night Before Christmas to his nephew Clyde, Speedy is shown stirring a cup, saying that the line "Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse," is technically incorrect. In Bah, Humduck! A Looney Tunes Christmas, Speedy is an employee of Daffy's Lucky Duck megastore. He is shown working in the gift-assembling department, where it is shown that he is very good at assembling toys at a very quick pace.
- It would be two years before Friz Freleng and animator Hawley Pratt redesigned the character into his modern incarnation for the 1955 Freleng short, Speedy Gonzales. The cartoon features Sylvester the Cat guarding a cheese factory at the United States-Mexican border from a group of starving Mexican mice. The mice call in the plucky, excessively energetic Speedy to save them, and amid cries of "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! Yeehaw!" (Spanish for "Go on! Go on! Up! Up!", although "Ándale arriba" may have been intended as meaning "hurry up") courtesy of Mel Blanc, Sylvester soon gets his comeuppance. The cartoon won the 1955 Academy Award for Best Short Subject (Cartoons).
