James Connelly (born 7 October 1932 in South Porcupine, Ontario) is a Canadian former ice hockey right winger who competed in the 1960 Winter Olympics, scoring five goals and eight points in seven games en route to winning a silver medal. He played junior hockey for the Waterloo Hurricanes and Guelph Biltmores from 1951 to 1953, winning the Memorial Cup in 1952. Connelly then joined the senior Chatham Maroons from 1953 to 1963. He won the Allan Cup in 1960 after the Olympics. He was invited (and accepted) to join the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen for the 1960 Olympics. Connelly retired in 1963.
