On March 28, 1986, it was announced that after ten years, BGC canceled Lady in the Wind due to low ratings, and its final episode aired on June 27, 1986. On June 30, 1986, the following Monday, BGC replaced Lady in the Wind with another soap opera called Supportive Women.
