In the fairytale land that was, Charming, now shaven, short-haired and armored up (in order to take on the appearance of his brother James), stares at his new self in the reflection of his polished shield. King Midas approaches him, with his aide by his side, pointing him out as his kingdom's savior ("The man who is going to tear the dragon limb from limb."). Charming draws James' golden sword, Midas takes hold of it, telling the new prince that if he does what is requested of him, he shall be legend. Midas and his men, including his aide, walk away as Charming attempts to fix his armor. ("The Shepherd")
