- Frygen is a mage of the Seers of the Moonstone, having specialized on dream prediction. The Avatar met him in Ultima Underworld I on the sixth level of the Abyss. Fyrgen told the Avatar of how he used dreams to predict things. Something that currently was robbing him of his sleep, since he saw great danger in form of a powerful daemon, the Slasher of Veils, looming over them. That was a prediction that Fyrgen hoped, was wrong. Later, Garamon rescued him when the volcano erupted.

That was a prediction that Fyrgen hoped, was wrong. He also instructed the Avatar how, by burning incense, one could receive dream messages from the visions in the following trance. This proved to be important, as this way the Cup of Wonder revealed the mantra with which it could be located. Later, Garamon rescued him when the volcano erupted.
