The Dunstable Duelling Championship is an annual duelling tournament held "in the furthest most [sic] field" from Dunstable Town Hall. It is run by the British Wizard Duelling Association. Gilderoy Lockhart had a certificate claiming that he won this championship, but given his poor ability in this field of magic, it was likely a forgery.

| - The Dunstable Duelling Championship is an annual duelling tournament held "in the furthest most [sic] field" from Dunstable Town Hall. It is run by the British Wizard Duelling Association. Gilderoy Lockhart had a certificate claiming that he won this championship, but given his poor ability in this field of magic, it was likely a forgery. Lockhart also included the question "Has Gilderoy Lockhart ever won the Dunstable Duelling Championship for Wizards or just been pipped at the post?" on a pop quiz concerning himself that he gave to his second-year Defence Against the Dark Arts students in 1992. One student answered, "Pipped to the post, I'm afraid," and another answered, "Always won."
