Ramón Santo Ramírez (born August 31, 1981 in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. He previously played for the Colorado Rockies, having been acquired from the New York Yankees in the Shawn Chacon trade, and for the Kansas City Royals before being traded to Boston for Coco Crisp. Ramírez made his Major League Baseball debut with the Colorado Rockies on April 14, 2006, against the Philadelphia Phillies at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
