The Maschinenpistole IX. Parteitag (German for IX Party Conference Machine Pistol) is a machine pistol of East German origin. It was designed in 1976 but never evolved past prototype stage. It received it`s initial designation as it was intended to be presented at the ninth German Socialist Party conference, of the same year. It was designed to fire the 9x18mm Makarov and had a foregrip wich also served as a container for a spare magazine.
