DF-25 (Dong Feng-25) was a Chinese two-stage, solid-propellant, mobile-launch medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM). The system entered limited service with the Second Artillery Corps of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) in 2004/2005.[citation needed] It could deliver a single or multiple conventional warheads weighting 2,000 kg over a maximum distance of 3,200 km. There are currently conflicting reports on whether the DF-25 has entered service, and if so, when. The numeration pattern of Chinese DF-21 and DF-25 MRBMs follows that of China's DF-11 and DF-15 SRBMs. It is possible that both types are in service.
