Dressed in 17th century attire, the Poultry Choir sang "Il Alphabetto," the alphabet in the style of Mozart opera, on Sesame Street. The lead soprano (Madame Alma Cluck) accidentally whacks into the other chicken while singing the climax part of the aria. They are conducted by a Turkey Conductor while a group of ducks and turkey look on. The segment is presented as a part of the recurring "Live from the Nestropolitan" segments, with Phil Harmonic providing the (off-screen) introduction and closing remarks.
