  • "Oven" is a song on Moon Man's KKKriminal album. It was produced by A WhiteTopian. Sun Man makes a brief appearance in the song before Moon Man scares him off. At the end of the track, Dr. William Jefferson prompts the next song, "Fire", by asking Moon Man about his hatred of arabs.
  • An oven can be used to create food using the Cooking skill. Pots and Pans are required to perform this action.
  • The oven, also unofficially known as a microwave, is used to cook uncooked pizza and raw meat in Dead Rising.
  • The most common oven style for awhile has been an oven with a door on the front that opens out and down, and with 4 stove burners on top. Now many manufacturers are making variations -- 6 or 8 burners, double ovens, warming ovens, grilling capabilities.
  • Ovens are food crafting stations with their own recipes, separate from cooking pots. They each require 3 Quarried Stone and 2 Clay to construct. Unlike cooking pots, ovens are capable of producing some oven-specific foods with 0.1 weight instead of 0.5 weight.
  • Ranged ovens and wood stoves are cooking devices used in the World of Daventry and Realm of Eldritch. Wood burning ranged ovens and stoves are used in the Kingdom of Daventry and Tamir. While others used more traditional brick ovens. In Eldritch the Troll-folk also use wood burning ovens (but what appears to be more advanced design).
  • Oven is a member of the elite Temerian special forces unit, the Blue Stripes.
  • Ovens can be used to cook any Food, like pizza and cake. They can be made from Masonry. You can turn them on and off by double clicking them. To cook, drag the baker's food from the inventory to the oven. Ovens are spawned in castle kitchens in Kingdom and Kingdoms modes. You can't cook meat in an oven, only a fire. It can also be used to cook eggs.
  • The enclosed compartment in a stove that is used for baking, roasting, broiling and heating. There are several different types of heat sources available for the stovetop and the oven, such as gas, electricity and infrared attachments for electrical ovens. There are also smaller ovens that are separate units, such as microwave ovens and toaster ovens. The microwave oven uses microwaves to cook the food and is available as a countertop model or microwave/hood combination. The toaster oven is a small countertop unit that works in the same manner as an electric oven but on a smaller scale.
  • An oven is a pre-War device in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas that has no real purpose other than storing lootable items. Small items such as bottles of Nuka-Cola can be placed on the rear shelf for display. Ovens are a good source for pilot lights if the player is looking for miscellaneous components. They can also contain foods such as iguana-on-a-stick, squirrel on a stick, and other regular food items. On top of them, there are also occasionally pressure cookers, metal cooking pots, pans, and other food items.
  • An oven is a Muggle device that cooks food. The Dursley family owned one and the Weasley family owned one when they were using Perkins' tent. The Malfoy family also owned one, as Dobby once said that to punish himself, he had to slam the oven door with his ears between it.
  • Ovens in the first and second game are a highly amusing, though also sometimes rather helpful, in game object that can be interacted with. In the first game, looking in ovens will very rarely give rare items, namely Lucky Peppers. However, they are not much use and offer little entertainment. In Golden Sun: The Lost Age, however, they are highly amusing, and looking inside will show a variety of funny things, varying from Felix commenting on the dish being prepared, which sometimes makes him feel hungry, though more often a professional opinion on the dish itself. For example, Felix once notes that one dish is full of tomatoes, and once he wishes for bread and cheese.
  • An oven was a piece of technology used for cooking food, prior to consumption. A "toaster oven" was a type of oven used on Earth in the 20th century. In 1986, a refuse worker complained, to his colleague, about his wife requesting one such oven, but he couldn't afford the sixty dollars required to purchase it. (Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home) In 2266, the chef on board the USS Enterprise used several ovens to prepare the turkey for Thanksgiving. (TOS: "Charlie X" ) In 2376, Abaddon's Repository of Lost Treasures had an iso-convective oven on sale. (VOY: "Alice")
