Tips
  • If the armor requires Strength that is much higher than yours, it will take more than one turn to put it on; and the crab may be able to rapidly close and attack multiple times.
  • For example, if a crab is next to a door that you are hiding behind, it will move one space into the door, and then attack you; and you will not get a surprise attack.
  • If the crab uses two moves and ends its turn by opening the door, you will get a surprise attack. * If you have found a heavy armor, put it on when you see a crab approaching.
  • * When you see one, plan your movement by counting two squares for it, for each step you want to take; and pick the best spot to fight it. * If you are one space away, back up, so it has to move two spaces; and it can't attack that same turn. * They are hard to use surprise attacks on.
Behavior
  • Crabs can move twice, or move one space and attack in the same turn, so you can't escape them.
  • They are also stronger & tougher.
  • And they are significantly better at parrying your attacks, than other enemies in the Sewers.
