- Kurse is the Leader of the To'mphonians in LEGO Galacti-Knight
- Algrim was a lieutenant of the Dark Elves' leader Malekith. Loyally serving his master during the war against the Asgardians, he was one of the few Dark Elves who survived the war that almost wiped out their race and lost them the Aether. Five thousand years later, Algrim did not hesitate to sacrifice himself to transform into the last of the Kursed to gain their revenge upon Asgard. Kurse helped Malekith to unleash the Sacking of Asgard, and killed Frigga. Once Malekith obtained the Aether, Kurse attempted to kill Thor, only to be challenged by Loki whom he then fatally wounded. In his final moments, Loki activated one of Kurse's Black Hole Grenades on his belt and destroyed the Kursed monster's body.
- Kurse is an Archvillain of The Lost. There are evidences that suggest that this being could be once the man known as the villain PsiCurse. Heroes may fight him:
* In the Keep Fusionette from getting killed mission from Jim Temblor.
- Kurse was a male Pureblood Sith Lord of the Sith Empire living during the Galactic War. At some point he became part of the Order of Revan and defected the Empire, joining with the Revanite forces on Yavin 4. Kurse and his fellow Revanites tried to stop a strike team from reaching Revan and the temple of Sacrifice artifact, but were defeated and killed.
- The being called Kurse was originally Algrim the Strong, one of the Dark Elves of the extradimensional realm of Svartalfheim who served the Dark Elves' ruler, Malekith the Accursed. Malekith captured Lorelei, an Asgardian woman who had used a magical potion to make the Asgardian thunder god Thor fall deeply in love with her. To rescue Lorelei, Thor went to the English Cotswolds, where stood the faerie castle that serves as a nexus between Earth and the other dimensional faerie realm of Svartalfheim. Thor broke through into the world of faerie, and seeing Lorelei menaced by Malekith, became oblivious to everything else. Hence, he was easily ambushed by the superhumanly strong Algrim, who stood in shadow wearing ebony armor. Malekith had told Algrim he had chosen him to defeat Thor. But whil
