Aleksander arrived on Bastion and headed straight to the Imperial Armed Forces Recruitment Office, where he was interviewed by Fleet Admiral Irin Tholl, who accepted Aleksander into the Stormtrooper Corps. That same day, he reported in at the barracks, where he met field medic Lysander Russ, the then Corporal Karyin and a Navy Pilot named Wulf Serpentine. Aleksander's first deployment, almost immediately after his recruitment, was during the Invasion of Csilla, where he was serving in the 95th Stormtrooper Rifle Battalion, who were part of the second wave of reserves. The plan for the 95th was to exploit a weak point in the Chiss lines North of General Rishar's Command Post. Aleksander would have been with them, had his dropship not been shot down on route to the Landing Zone. Only he and one other member of his squad survived the crash. After gathering equipment, he radioed for assistance, a call that was answered by Karyin, who took his injured squadmate to Lysander's field hospital on her speederbike while he made his way to the CP on foot. At the CP, Aleksander was given the task of calling in orbital bombardments and bombing runs on the Chiss lines by General Rishar. At the same time, the 95th had broken through the Chiss lines, but had been cut off by Chiss reinforcements and annihilated, with nearly 750 casuaties. ***Further Data Classified by Military High Command*** Aleksander's second deployment was to the war-torn planet of Fenrir VI. After taking the role of his recon-squad's sniper, he took position on the 4th floor of a mall, where he encountered lone NR Army Captain Excapus Leonida. After his squad was annihilated by Fenriri forces, he and Leonida joined forces in an effort to survive, as two Rogue Squadron X-wing fighters provided support from above. Aleksander received a wound to the abdomen during the battle, shortly before the pair encountered a unknown female NRI agent and an unknown Imperial Agent. The group then moved on toward a landed freighter in an attempt to escape the planet, covered by the X-wings. ***Further Data Classified by Military High Command*** Following those two engagements, Tarkov was assigned to garrison duty on Bastion, rarely going off-planet. After a month of this however, Aleksander grew bored and put in for a transfer to Fleet Admiral Tholl's Star Destroyer, the Vengeance. The request was then granted by Tholl himself, the same man who had approved his recruitment into the Imperial military. Shortly after his transfer, Aleksander took part in the Imperial invasion of Telos, leading a small squad of Marines through the assault after assisting in the insertion of two Imperial Agents. After calling in a successful Mass-Driver strike on his objective, he grouped up with Demetrius Fontaine in order to assault the Onasi Compound. In the attack on the compound, Aleksander lost his left arm. Shortly after Telos, twenty year old Tarkov was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and given command of the 25th Stormtrooper Regiment on-board the Vengeance.Family
