The Ultra Scarab has many different non-standard features including weapons and other upgrades. There is increased walking speed, a full Anti-Air gun platform, and a plasma beam called by the Marines as the "Hot Babe" due to it's over-effective properties including extra damage and catching fire anything it shoots at. It has a closed bunker in the inside much like the Scarab seen in the Invasion of Earth and requires double the amount of crew a normal Scarab needs. Many things to identify it include the red color, the upgrades, and huge amount of armed personnel of all Covenant species atop it. Although usually a rare sight, but most times when it is seen, they will actually come with one or more Scarabs and command the Lekgolo using the armor and they become a truly effective team. A reli

A relief to the UNSC, the Ultra Scarab were originally intended to operated in a Zero-Gravity environment, and walk along the hull of High Charity to guard it's outer area as a mobile Anti-Aircraft platform, and can even destroy UNSC Frigates with concentrated fire, but when High Charity was destroyed, most Ultra Scarab armor, and it's Lekgolo drivers perished. Some have been seen walking along large Covenant starships and a few still exist, although not manufactured any longer, they present a serious threat.
