Jackson's artwork was noted for its clean lines and sense of realism in addition to the research he put into the composition and the technology depicted in each drawing. Currently Mike is devoted to solely working in film. One of his early works, the short Dial 'A' for Alphaman was picked up for airing on the Sci-fi Network in 2003. Mike Jackson is not to be confused with the miscellaneous crewmember of the same name who worked on Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, but he did like seeing his name in the closing credits.
