  • Personal Log User 986546731 Okay. Journaling. A thing I do now, apparently. That I'm supposed to do, says Dr. McLaughlin. Seems like pop-psych crap if you ask me, the kind of narcissistic b.s. second-chancers are into, when they take a break from blaming "sleepers" like me for die-off, anyway. As though they have anything to recover from. What - the trauma of having other people save the world for you so you can criticize them for screwing it up in the first place? I mean, sorry I had to watch half the world drown while the other half died of thirst or famine! I don't know... McLaughlin says this kind of cynicism is common to folks my age, but if that's true, why aren't we talking to each other about it? Getting old just feels... lonely. No second chances for us.
  • After an operation, a meek man wakes up 200 years in the future. Can he save the earth from being ruled by a dead dictator's nose?
  • Having the strange condition of being a migrating consciousness, the Sleeper will occasionally wake up as some one new when he sleeps. Initially a regular person, the Sleeper has long since lost his/her identity over the years. Waking up in different bodies and different time periods, the constant strain on their psyche has caused emotional instability and symptoms similar to Bi-polar disorder. Often using drugs to stay awake for days on end, the Sleeper never knows when they will be pulled from an identity they like (only that long periods without sleep may kill their host).
  • Clark desperately searches for Kara and Brainiac, as Brainiac is the only one who can reverse Lana's condition. Clark asks Chloe to check any large power surges in the area, so she breaks into several government computers, setting off alarms. Jimmy is caught between the Department of Domestic Security - who threatens him with jail time unless he helps them arrest Chloe - and Lex, who offers to help clear Chloe if Jimmy agrees to be in his debt. Jimmy is waiting for Chloe, in a formal tuxedo, but she is dragged away, arrested by Lex.
  • The Sleeper is Croyd Crenson, a man who transforms every time he sleeps, each time waking up with a new appearance and new powers. Sometimes he is a powerful ace, sometimes a pathetic joker. Croyd sells his services as an ace for hire; he is a well-known figure on the streets of New York City. He is a fixture in both the ace and joker communities. While he is not a bad sort at heart, the Sleeper is addicted to amphetamines, prone to violent superpowered episodes when he is far gone into drug psychosis. Croyd became a wild card in 1946, and has been around since the beginning of the wild card age.
  • Sleeper is the twentieth episode of the seventh season of Castle.
  • The sleeper is a fundamental yo-yo trick that must be learnt before many other tricks can be done. A sleeper is when the yo-yo is on the end of the string and spinning. It is then returned to the hand by giving the string a tug or doing a bind, depending on how responsive the yo-yo is. Start with a throw down, but let the yo-yo stay on the end of the string without tugging your hand. To achieve a long sleeper you need to ensure the yo-yo is not tilted to one side and you must throw it hard.

  • A Sleeper is a Virtual World participant that cannot leave the V-World. Sleepers are rumored to exist; there are no verifiable cases of actual sleepers. Sleepers are named such since they supposedly have fallen asleep while wearing their holoband. More intense conditions of unconsciousness, such as a comatose state, may also manifest as sleeper participants. The holoband has a safety feature that automatically disconnects the participant. This may be a function of time, or perhaps it detects brainwave anomolies.
