He is an honorary heir of Slytherin but his Hogwarts house is Gryffindor. Part of the Pride, his mate is Luna Lovegood though he has something inexplicable going on with a certain Amanda Smythe. He plays the flute and record,and is Quidditch Captain of Gryffindor House. Particularly skilled at potions, his weak point is Transfiguration. As of now in the series there is a vision looming over his future according to which he is slated to die on 5th June 1997, before he even completes 17 years of life. However he is determined not to bow down to fate. His sarcasm, cunning and different way of thinking makes him an asset to the light side. His animagus form is a fox.
