- Wolfram and Conrad are walking through town that is full of houseki as well. Wolfram is feeling unwell because of it and Conrad doesn't notice. Wolfram mentions the only ones that could possibly utilize their maryoku would be Celi or Julia. They run into Nicola, which Conrad initially mistakes for Yuuri. Nicola then realizes that this is the younger brother of the fiance that stole Yuuri. Wolfram gets riled up, Conrad says it's a misunderstanding, but Nicola then continues to explain that Gwendal and Yuuri were on the run in handcuffs. Wolfram is not pleased.

Krugan reveals that the former is to blame for leaving his teacher useless which he uses to his advantage and defeats Koma. As Krugan prepared to stomp on the former's arm, he is struck by Talon's magical attack.

Lyon tells him that Ur's death was Gray's fault, and prepares to finish him off. Gray is defeated and tossed aside, but Natsu carries him back to the village. At the village, Lucy and Happy inform the villagers of the situation.

- Green is busy trying to complete her own self-assigned mission. She figures that Team Rocket must be rich and plans on reaching their third floor; however, she sees a door open, and suddenly finds herself in some unknown plains, with a building in the background; this is an illusion created by Sabrina to force Green to experience her worst fears. Red plucks the Thunder Badge from Lt. Surge, telling him that Professor Oak told Red that to be a strong trainer, all you need is what's in your heart.
- At the Greatful Sound Festival, the rain stops. People are still crowding toward the 3rd Stage. The numbers for the stages are: Main Stage, 10,800; 2nd Stage, 2,100; and 3rd Stage, 5,500. Leon Sykes is upset, because he didn't think this would happen. Gordie complains that it is Malcolm's fault for quitting when the rain started. Meanwhile at the 3rd Stage, the number counter is at 5,714 and with so many people coming through at once, it is more of an estimate than an actual count. As Koyuki looks out over the crowd, he is shocked by their reaction. He feels a connection with everyone there.
