Bud Riley is a former NASCAR driver from Los Angeles, CA. He competed in eight Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens. All of Riley's races came in the 1951 season, when he debuted at Detroit. He struggled mightily in that event, crashing to a 45th and then crashing to a 16th at Toledo. But after that Riley improved. Four races into the year, Riley drove to a solid 8th place effort at Langhorne and then a career-best 5th at Dayton. He didn't run too bad after that recording a pair of 22nds before ending his career with a 17th at Gardena.
