| - Jacken Skywalker gazed with a certain degree of uncertainty at the blast door. In his left hand was a yellow lightsaber forged by him when he was twelve. In his right was a newly assembled sky blue lightsaber. Behind the door were Imperial Agents who were slicing through the door leading to the main hanger of his Master’s ship, ‘The Defender.’ The one thing that the Imperial Agents didn’t know was that there was a highly experienced Jedi Knight waiting for them as they would go through the door; that was only their first mistake and probably the least important of the two. The worst choice they could’ve made was that Jacken Skywalker’s master was Satele Shan, Grand Jedi Master of the Jedi Order, and they had just boarded her ship. A few second’s crept like eternity but eventually the door was knocked down. Jacken charged through it, lightsaber in hand, lashing out at those who wished him and his master harm. — — — The battle only lasted a few minutes. The Imperial Agent’s weren’t trained to take down a Jedi. Jacken had disarmed them and knocked them unconscious. Satele smiled at the sight of her apprentice, “that fast?” Jacken grinned in response, “nice to see you too.” He seated himself at a table and started writing a report on the past events. Even a Padawan would have enough force capability to realize what his master was reading over his shoulder. One of the Agent’s stirred on the floor, Satele merely waved her hand and exerted her force power to knock him out once more. “Jacken?” Satele’s apprentice was grinning intensely, “Yes dearest master.” “Why exactly did you refer to me as an overgrown Ewok?” Alicia Horn sat in the center of the colossal meditation room, her legs were crossed and she was focusing solely on letting the force flow through her. The young Jedi Knight had flowing blond hair and magnificent dark blue eyes. She had mastered the ability to hide in the force and not be found for a very long time. Next to her, Artemis Kenobi was fighting a SMD droid. These droids were manufactured by the Sith’s allies on Ord Mantell. SMD stands for Sith Meditation Droids. The blades clashed in an eruption of sparks. Artemis planted his left foot on the floor while he whirled the other in a sweeping kick. The droid flipped way from the attack and advanced, striking with flurries that struck in no specific place. All it took was one decapitating lunge to end the fight. — — — Daanea Ashlyn quietly slipped through the shadows. He lightsaber twitched with agony as she watched a young apprentice guarding the Holocron Vault. It really wasn’t fair that she was going to use his feelings for her against him, but, she was told, she was far too hard to resist. “Dylan!” The boy’s eyes darted from the blank space he was looking in to Daanea. “Hey Daanea.” This was her chance, “What’s a handsome Jedi Warrior doing down here in this boring place.” “Guard Duty.” He almost added, I ask myself the same question all the time. He looked away and blushed slightly. Daanea summoned her lightsaber from her belt and lunged at the apprentice. With one lightning quick motion he summoned his silver blade to block. Unfortunately for the apprentice he was no match for Daanea, but that wouldn’t stop him from trying. The Apprentice launched a force-augmented kick, catching Daanea in the midsection. She twisted away from his next attack parrying the blows. Dylan shifted his gaze from Daanea to the stool behind her and lurched his hand upwards, summoning the furniture to accelerate forwards. Daanea quickly threw a reverse elbow into his Solar Plexus and redirected the stool towards the winded apprentice. Upon impact he was sent to the ground. “Daanea… Daanea…I don’t understand,” he whimpered. “You’ll never have the chance to.” Daanea plunged her weapon into Dylan’s stomach then let him fall to the ground. Daanea quickly grabbed the Datacard from Dylan’s body and bolted towards the door force flashing the security cameras. The door unveiled a massive room full of Holocrons. Master will be pleased. She quickly exited the temple. By the time the alarms had sounded it was already too late. She was gone. Alicia and Artemis had felt the apprentice leave the force as he died. They were the first at the scene. Master Aden Guul was next, “Whoever it was knew how to forceflash our security cameras. They’re fried.” “When is Grand Master Shan getting here?” Alicia’s voice sounded pained. “She and Jacken have left Alderran and should be here soon.” Artemis nodded, his eyes unmoving from the corpse in the similar state, “does she know the situation yet?” Master Guul shock his head, “I’ll comm her immediately. Jedi Kenobi, Jedi Horn.” He finished politely and walked away. Tears began to well up in Alicia’s eyes, “Who could’ve done this Artemis.” “I would imagine a Sith would Alicia.” “This is not good. A Holocron gone can only mean that whoever has taken this is after the force sensitives.” The three Jedi nodded. Jacken spoke up, “That will take out the next generation of Jedi!” “All the more reason why we need to find out who did this.” “A Sith could’ve. But how could they’ve gotten in here?” “How did they take out Temple on Coruscant?” Jacken nodded in agreement, “Good point.” Suddenly the doors swung open, “Grand Master Shan. Have we heard from Jedi Ashlyn?” Satele inclined her head, then shook her head, “She’s gone missing.” Aden returned his gaze to Dylan’s body, “All is not well.” Jacken seemed to wince for a second as if something had reflected into his eyes. “Grand Master, what would you call this?” She shrugged absent mindedly, “A travel planner.” Jacken waited for the news to sink in. A certain element of surprise crossed her face as her grim expressions were replaced by ones of utmost excitement. Daanea smiled at her master, “All has gone well. The Holocron is in our hands and we shall take the next generation of Jedi right from their hands.” Her master looked at her, a large extent of his expression was humorous. “You have much to learn. By now they would’ve discovered the missing Holocron and be hiding the force-senstives.” Daanea’s smile was replaced by on of confusion, “then what was the point of our past operation?” “Merely to show them that they are still open for attack. They will be frightened. They will be so frightened that they will leave other planets open for attack so we can take them.” It was at that second that a mad glint entered Daanea’s Masters crimson eyes. “What is my next task?” “The Jedi have put up a resistance on Ilum. We’re sending in a small task force of Sith to deal with them.” General Garza’s warship, Hope, was raging through an image of hell. The ship was caught in the crossfire. On board was Jedi Knight Amie Taro, a Twi’lek Female. “Jedi Taro, we’re directly above Ilum, what are our orders.” Amie looked at out the viewport while pondering the options that lay in front of her, General Garza was going to kill her for the destruction of her ship. “We take the ships in the hanger and aid Master Guul on Ilum. The Sith need this planet. The most we can do is take it from them.” “Attention to all onboard Hope. Go directly to the hanger area and get into your ships. Hope is lost. I repeat, Hope is lost.” Hundreds of blanks looks were directed towards the Captain, the looks became exasperated, then worried. Amie looked at her datapad and read the data that had been sent to her from the Engine room. She grabbed the projector and shouted in it, “This is Jedi Taro. We have T-60 Seconds to evacuate the ship to Ilum! I repeat, We have T-60 Seconds to evacuate the ship to Ilum!" Once she finished screams erupted as if a Nexu had gotten lose at a Zoo. Amie tore off towards the hanger, pouring the force into her surroundings to calm down the crew of Hope. She quickly climbed into her Phantom Class Ship and took out of the hanger leaving the oblivion of battle behind her as she started her descent to Ilum. Ilum was just as Amie had predicted: a frozen Abyss with horrid monsters. It’s true that there were some nice natural phenomenons, but other then that, it was just as she had predicted it would be. After hours of searching (and almost freezing her Brain-Tail off) Amie found the Jedi Enclave were Master Guul was waiting. It was there that they would ready a plan to take the Sith Empire’s army and take Ilum back. “Master Guul, Jedi Kenobi.” Amie bowed her head politely as she moved through the rooms to where general Garza was waiting. The two Jedi, Aden and Artemis, had read the Holocron thief’s datapad, Ilum was on their as a mission objective. The General’s eyes focused on Amie, “I hear my ship is gone, Jedi Taro.” Amie winced and turned towards the General, “Yes, sorry about that. We got caught in crossfire on the way here.” A smile spread across General Garza’s face, “Don’t worry about it. I never liked Hope anyway. It was a gift from…” Garza’s words were cut short by a loud explosion, which shattered ever window into millions of shards. The two women quickly dived behind cover. The durasteel arc acted as a shield. Amie’s Blue lightsaber came to life with a snap-hiss. She jumped into the air and used the force to alter her trajectory towards one of the oncoming Droids. They were CFX-LT7 Hunter droids created by Nem’ro the Hutt. The droids were easily sliced in half, having no resistance at all. This puzzled Amie, Why have Droids with no armor? Another explosion made her realize what they were. Suicide Droids. “General, we need to get out of here!” “Jedi Taro, lead the way!” Amie quickly sliced through three more droids, which were pouring through the main door. Aden and Artemis were already out of the building. They must’ve figured it out. Garza had a blaster pistol out and ready to fire. She was on guard, scanning her surroundings. I see how she became a General. She could see Aden and Artemis in battle with JKH Droids. The sabers clashing illuminated the area. Amie gave Artemis aid in the force giving him the upper hand and destroying the Droid in one fatal blow. The Twi’lek Jedi then lifted her blade and swung it in an arc. The blade collided with another. Sparks were sent scattered across the ground, sinking into the snow. A JKH, or as they were otherwise known as, a Jedi Knight Hunter, is a Jedi Knight’s equal. They would distract a Master, Injure a Knight, and kill a Padawan. Luckily, Amie was trained enough to outsmart a droid. — — — Daanea Ashlyn moved through the wreckage of the Jedi Enclave. No bodies, all had survived. “They’ll be spread around the perimeter.” “We’ll investigate straight away Jedi Ashlyn.” Daanea swiftly walked to the Imperial Agent. He suddenly grappled his throat as the Sith Apprentice force him to crush his windpipe. “It’s Apprentice Ashlyn, not Jedi Ashlyn.” The other Agents quickly left the scene of the battle. There was a faint snap-hiss, but Daanea could hear it clearly in the force. The area was illuminated by a yellow glow as the Jedi Master Aden Guul moved towards Daanea. “I should’ve known it was you from the point when you went missing, Jedi Ashlyn. Or is it Apprentice Ashlyn. It almost seems as if you’ve been downgraded.” Daanea silver blade flashed to life as it prepared for the battle that was readily approaching, “I’ve been waiting for my chance to kill someone better then poor little Dylan.” Aden shook his head, washed with pure disgust, “You used his feelings against him. That’s so very Sith.” “I’ll take that as a compliment.” Aden circled his blade in a practice stance and beckoned for Daanea to make her move. “I’m not an apprentice anymore,” she snarled. “Really? It seems you’ve been downgraded to one.” She lunged, the blade met with an explosion of sparks. They swept their weapons through the multi-colored oblivion, both fighting to kill. Daanea aimed her saber for Aden’s head, threatening to deliver a fatal blow. Aden threw up his hand in defense sending her sprawling into the wall. His saber left his hand and missed impaling her by mere centimeters. Daanea charged at the weaponless Jedi. Throwing blows at him left, right, and center. Aden flipped over Daanea while summoning his weapon back to him, as he felt his hand clasp the hilt he threw another blow directly downwards. The lightsaber connected with Daanea’s shoulder giver her a shallow cut. Daanea retaliated by smashing her hilt into Aden’s kneecap; she could hear the sharp cracking of the bones. Both warriors were injured. Daanea’s shoulder and now Aden’s knee were injured. Aden put the force behind his last swing smashing Daanea’s saber out of her hand, “I win, Apprentice Ashlyn.” He bought up the saber but was met by a final blow. The Force Lightning connected with his chest sending Aden catapulting into the stonewall making a large crack running right the way up. Daanea summoned her saber and plunged it into the Jedi Master’s chest, “Who’s the apprentice now?” “Your not an apprentice, Daanea, but a Slave to the Dark Side.” Aden ‘s body turned limp as his body slid down the wall. His last words stunned Daanea to the point of paralyzing her with shock. She knelt onto her left knee which making sure she supported her right arm. Aden’s lightsaber switched off and floated lazily to her belt. “Apprentice Ashlyn.” Daanea looked up and saw the group of Agents that had went looking for the escaped Jedi, “What’s the situation.” “Darth Recreas wants you back at Korriban. He’s proud of you.” Daanea flashed him a brief but expressive smile and walked past the agent, “Continue your search, but don’t freeze to death.”
