The Principality of Naples (Latin: Principatus Neapolim), commonly known as Naples, was a semi-independent state ruled by Neapolitan princes with suzerainty to the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. It was established in the aftermath of the Ottoman-Italian War by the Treaty of Rome.
