Iraidas or Lraidas were a species of predatory reptomammals that were native to the planet Alderaan. They were characterized by their long ears which permitted them to develop an advanced hearing which they used to hear and hunt their prey. They had a light-blueish grey fur that protected them from the cold of Alderaan mountains. They were sometimes used as watch-beasts, even if their roles were limited and also played a major part in the arenas during the "gladiatorial" challanges, this entertainment was most appreciated by the crowd.

They were characterized by their long ears which permitted them to develop an advanced hearing which they used to hear and hunt their prey. They had a light-blueish grey fur that protected them from the cold of Alderaan mountains. They are distantly related to the Bolraida, another species that lived on the planet, but they had demonstrated a far more superior intelligence than their more vicious and aggressive brethren. This superiority made them more cunning predators than the Bolraida and led them to use different approaches to get to their prey. They were sometimes used as watch-beasts, even if their roles were limited and also played a major part in the arenas during the "gladiatorial" challanges, this entertainment was most appreciated by the crowd.
