The WT-3 Walking Tank was the third model of the Walking Tank series of walkers produced by Ingzan-Bregaran Imperial Armoured Vehicle Yards in conjuction with Dezendyan Vehicle Factories for the Imperial Army. The WT-3 was based on the AT-XT walker. Even though the WT-3 was technically obsolete compared to its descendants, the lack of mortars on the WT-5 and following models gave the WT-3 the edge in some battles, which meant the Imperial Army kept them in service alongside the descendants which were ment to supplant and eventually replace them.

| - The WT-3 Walking Tank was the third model of the Walking Tank series of walkers produced by Ingzan-Bregaran Imperial Armoured Vehicle Yards in conjuction with Dezendyan Vehicle Factories for the Imperial Army. The WT-3 was based on the AT-XT walker. Entering service in 1,045 ABY, the WT-3 was given mortar launchers making it a light self-propelled artillery walker as well as scout and infantry tank. Designed to give heavier armament to the WT series the mortars were highly effective against enemy infantry and light vehicles, despite this the mortars were removed on the subsequent evolutions of the design, like the WT-5 Walking Tank and WT-6 Walking Tank. Even though the WT-3 was technically obsolete compared to its descendants, the lack of mortars on the WT-5 and following models gave the WT-3 the edge in some battles, which meant the Imperial Army kept them in service alongside the descendants which were ment to supplant and eventually replace them. As with the WT-2 Walking Tank, the WT-3 was well liked as being easy to handle by pilots and rather easy to maintain, leading to them being used for decades after technical obsolescence in the Imperial Army, and being in service with the House of Dezendyan Security Force as late as the Dezendyan-Vás Feud of 1,129 ABY-1,130 ABY, when the WT-3 was 84 years old. At least several were also captured by the Allied Armies Against Ingzan-Bregaran Imperialism. They were distinguished from Dezendyan ones by there pro-rebellion slogans written on them.
