The Armored Pirate is a Space Pirate which appears only in the original NTSC release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, solely at the Concourse in SkyTown, Elysia. The Armored Pirate is physically identical to the Armored Pirate Militia, suggesting that Retro Studios accidentally misnamed it, although scans say it is a different creature.

The Armored Pirate is physically identical to the Armored Pirate Militia, suggesting that Retro Studios accidentally misnamed it, although scans say it is a different creature. After scanning it, the game will give the player a Red Credit (allowing for 109 total, rather than the game's usual maximum of 108). It has a unique scan entry, as well as a model (unusually, this depicts an Armored Pirate Trooper despite the in-game creature being a Militia), but it does not appear in the Logbook. [1]
