Politically, however, Hiltone was the most powerful, having formed a coalition government with other nation-states through the Lawyteret T'lessia. This changed in the wake of the brief yet bloody Sa'ari Civil War, which had been instigated by the military junta that had taken over from the civilian government. In the wake of the conflict, a new national lawyte was formed in Hiltone, and its surviving military was absorbed into the T'lessian Defense Force.
