- Divine Sacrifice is a Paladin ability, you will need to spend 11 points in Protection to get it. This spell is party-only. The damage transferred is subject to the Paladin's damage mitigation, such as armor, shield, absorb etc., therefore the Paladin may take significantly smaller damage than the sum of what the party members may take without this spell. This ability is most useful when cast immediately following Divine Shield. Since it makes the Paladin invulnerable, this cast sequence is a net %30 reduction in party damage, and can be useful in certain boss encounters where the boss causes massive party-wide damage in a short time.
