- Jack Curtis is the protagonist of the novel Final Destination: Death of the Senses. He was a commercial bus driver up until he accidentally ran over a young woman named Terry Chaney. Subsequently, he lost his job and became homeless. Some time later, he saved a police officer named Amy Tom from a psychotic killer, a man who was originally supposed to go around town killing individuals whom he saw as corrupt in his eyes. After saving the officer, Death begins to kill off the people who were supposed to be killed by the serial killer in ways relating to their senses (taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing). Jack is the last survivor to die.
