Marcus de Augustin (17 May 3152 - 14 April 3237) was the Imperial Chancellor of the Narikatonite Empire from 3201 to 3237. He succeeded his father following his resignation triggered by a coup led by Marcus' moderates. He was known for his much more liberal attitudes towards issues of race and religion in Narikaton, as well as his vigorous pursuit of peace with the Darnussian Republic. His premiership, during the reign of Emperor Alexander I, was dominated by The Tensions, and his cool head and quick-thinking has more than once prevented global catastrophe.

| - Marcus de Augustin (17 May 3152 - 14 April 3237) was the Imperial Chancellor of the Narikatonite Empire from 3201 to 3237. Born into the powerful de Augustin family, he was destined to become the next leader of the Imperial Narikaton Movement, and then on to the position of Imperial Chancellor. When he first gained the office after forcing his father to resign in the so-called 'Kar Coup', he was essentially Dictator of Narikaton. However, he liberalised the country, and gave back more powers to the Imperial Parliament, as well as to the Emperor, who until then was essentially ruling in the shadow of the Chancellor. Under his premiership, elections were held, however the results were internationally disputed, and they were not entirely believed to have been fair. He died in 3237, and was replaced by his son Julius de Augustin.
