Brooke Shields (born May 31, 1965) is an American actress, and second wife of businessman/politician George Welles, Jr. She came to fame with the 1980 film The Blue Lagoon, and later starred in the acknowledged dramas, Enter the Silence (1988) and Coast to Coast (1990), which were financed by her husband. She married Welles in 1987, but the couple divorced in 1994, when Welles was sentenced to five years in prison. She then married her Coast to Coast co-star, actor Gary Oldman, which lasted until 2001.
